for both Windows and Macintosh Systems. Some applications are available
to faculty and staff at no additional cost, others can be acquired
at academic discount prices. If you are interested in an application

Some applications are offered to the staff and faculty of the College
of Arts and Sciences, free of charge, for use on their primary computer.
These include Microsoft Office (for Windows or Macintosh), Filemaker
Pro, your choice of email client, and Mcafee Virus Scan (Windows)
or Virex (Macintosh). Others are available at academic discounts
as follows (pricing does change, so use these as general guidelines).
In general, a department would purchase a license via an i.d., and
a CSG staff member will install the software requested. Installation
media (CD) is available at an extra charge to the license fee.
The SU Bookstore carries shrink-wrapped software complete with
install media and manuals for purchase as well. Academic identification
required. Please contact the SU Bookstore for more information.
